All I can say is WOW!  An ICDL Expert DIRFloortime® Training Leader and amazing educator, Kathryn Sullivan, was recently recognized as the 2020 Educator of the Year by the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC).  NAPSEC is a national organization of over 200 agencies that provide special educational services to infants, students and adults throughout the United States.  The award was based on Kate’s demonstrable excellence in the classroom, service in the community and advocacy for the rights of students with special needs.

I urge you to take a few minutes to listen to Kate's moving acceptance speech.  She shares the impact DIR has had on her work as well as the incredible impact the students in her life have had upon her.

Every day DIRFloortime practitioners make a difference in the lives of countless children, teens, young adults, and adults.  Please join me in congratulating Kate on her wonderful award and the ways that she brings DIR to children in her classroom every single day.

Congratulations Kate!
